Lier's, Scam artist’s, Thieves! Former customer. I Own a waterfront property with a flood insurance premium of $2,400. yearly. After receiving a notice from fema that without an elevation certificate on file my premiums will increase 20% a year, I hired a survey company, paid for the elevation certificate, and sent it to the Mitchell J Blecker agency. After a month of no response I contacted them for the statue of my flood premium, there reply was they haven’t heard anything yet. Month 2 I contacted them and left a message with the secretary. A week later followed up with another phone call and an email, no reply from an agent. When I finally spoke with an agent the reply was they never received the certificate I sent; I drove straight to the office with a copy and now the agent told me they did receive my certificate and sent it to fema and my premium adjustment was denied. Being skeptical of what was going on I took my certificate to two other agency, both agency gave me a annual quote of $700. and said I should get a rate adjusted refund of $1,700. When I presented this to Mitchel J Blecker agency there reply was the other agencies were lying to me to get my business. I called directly to Nationwide flood; the Mitchell J Blecker agency never sent in my elevation certificate and I was never denied a rate adjustment. I mailed my elevation certificate directly to Nationwide Flood and within two weeks received an adjusted rate refund check of $1,700. My new annual premium is only $700. and the insurance agency I switched to is honest!
